All of ARTICULATED programs are designed and led by Molly Lyons. An experienced writer, instructor and arts education administrator, Molly has had the pleasure of leading creative educational environments in New York and Connecticut. She served as one of the architects of Shakespeare Academy at Stratford, a summer intensive in theater making for college-aged students on the grounds of the American Shakespeare Festival Theater in Stratford, Connecticut, as well as the Artistic Director of Stratford’s New Works Lab. Over her six years there, she regularly led developmental workshops in playwriting for high school and college students.

As a founder of the Rye Writers’ Studio in Rye, NY, she worked with high school students to develop creative writing skills in the Studio’s summer writing workshops. Through the Studio, she led both group workshops as well as 1:1 private essay coaching for college admissions.

Since becoming LA-based, Molly has spend much of her writing time in television writers’ rooms, but is looking forward to the opportunity to get back to her teaching roots here in sunny southern California.
